Made Green Radish Soup

Took the recipe from the news paper,

Ingredients
4 dried Scallops
500kg soft Pork
3-4 carrot
1 greed radish, 450g - 500g
2 ears corn
2.5 litres water
Salt ( optional )

Didnt used that much in the ingredients, because not nice no one gonna eat. But mummy help me with buying , cutting and washing the ingredients.

1st. Rinse the scallops under running water, place in a bowl, cover with boiling water and let them soak for 15 minutes. Drain, reserve scallops.

2nd. rinse pork under running water, place in a metal colander, pour a kettle of boiling water over the meat and let it drain.

3rd. skin the carrot and leave open so the do not fall apart during long slimmering. skin the radish and cut into large chunks. shuck the corn and chop it into three pieces.

4th. Add pork and scallops to a soup pot, add water and boil it. skim off the white foam that forms the surface.

5th. Add the vegetables. Reduce the hear to low and simmer partially covered for at least 2hours.

6th. Taste and add salt if needed. cut carrots into chunks before serving.

it's quite okay with the soup because with mummy help.
Cooking it's quite tiring , wash ingredients
and need to always turn the fire big and small at times.
See when i'm free try cook it for my family. haha.

origami

found some websites regarding origamis and decided to try folding some of them.easy work though. at first, might be a little stuck but in the end was done.
did 3 origamis.
the first, is a church *although it doesn't look like one*
the second one is a piano. *without the keys*
and lastly, the sumo. it's quite weird though. in the computer screen, the sumo looks really like one. but when i folded out, it looks nothing like a sumo. wondering what went wrong...or is it because i didn't fold two. folded one instead. so doesn't seem so real...
maybe its because we look at the different angle of this sumos. One from the computer, the other from your hand. You see, we tend to see things differently through different angles. The same applies for these origamis.
even though the website state "church" ; "piano" ; "sumo" ,
but when you really folded out these, it normally does not look like what it seems it to be.
well, anyways, did learn to fold some.
better than nothing. i guess?

fishing

On the 29th march. Rot at home first, until about 6pm wangxuan asked " want fishing anot" . so meet him around 7pm at boonkeng with henry, xavier, wangxuan, brian, kokwee and me. Train down to punggol mrt than bus down to punggol end there fishing.

Reach there they teach me how to put the dead prawn at the hook and it was my first time holding the fishing rot, i was so excited and nervous. they taught me to throw the rot by 90 degree so that it can go further. Wangxuan and xavier guide me all the way, while waiting for the fish to get on hook, we sit there chit chat and appreciate the beautiful scenary, about 30minutes later, i felt the tip of the rod it's moving, i quickly tell them, than they ask me " quickly reel the line back la! ". and i caught a cat fish ! So happy. :D They helped me to take the hook out from the fish mouth. Before that, they cut away the both side and the head fin because it's poisonous. scary! after that we put it inside a box filled with water.

After awhile more about 11 pm time to go because it's late. So bus and mrt home. (: happy that i learned how to fish. enjoyed my day!
